Riskex named an Approved Government G-Cloud 13 Framework Supplier of Cloud Software Services

Riskex, a rapidly growing provider of health and safety software are delighted to announce it has been approved on the latest iteration of the Government G-Cloud 13 Framework to deliver SaaS applications which are accessed over the internet and hosted in the cloud.  G-Cloud 13 will be launched on 9 November.

G-Cloud 13 will replace G-Cloud 12 and will continue to provide cloud hosting and software services, together with associated support services to the UK central government departments and all other public sector bodies.  It gives public sector organisations the confidence that they are procuring from companies who have successfully met the criteria set out by the Crown Commercial Service.

What is the G-Cloud Framework?

The G-cloud procurement initiative was established by the UK government to encourage the adoption of cloud services across the public sector and provide a secure platform where these organisations could go to find technology or people for digital projects.  The initiative also serves to provide buyers with the assurance that G-Cloud suppliers have been properly vetted and meet strict standards and criteria before they are accepted on the framework.

There are many benefits for buyers to use the G-Cloud framework, including:

  • access to multiple suppliers and cloud services, including a high number of SMEs
  • quick and easy route to market
  • access to the latest cloud technology and innovation
