Riskex + SIXIS Technology
AssessNET and SIXIS Technology’s solution HAVSPRO together help organisations turn workplace vibration risks into clear, informed accountable actions helping you create the best risk assessments possible, based on accurate data.
Why Riskex and SIXIS Technology are working together
Riskex and SIXIS Technology are focused on the same outcome: practical protection for people, backed by clear easy to understand evidence. SIXIS Technology brings accurate, worker-and-tool level vibration data, measured using HAVSPRO on tool sensors. Riskex brings the system layer that makes risk visible, assigns ownership, and proves what actions changed and what improved.
What the integration delivers:
HAVSPRO provides the exposure truth. AssessNET provides the operational response guided by the HAVSPRO data.
Together, organisations can:
- Detect over-exposure early, before harm escalates
- Pinpoint hotspots by person, tool, task, site and shift, even the accessories being used
- Trigger corrective actions and track completion in one place
- Strengthen assurance with a clear evidence trail over time
How HAVSPRO from Sixis Technology works
Vibrating equipment can contribute to HAVS or WBV harm if exposure isn’t accurately measured, monitored and actively managed. HAVSPRO is designed to make that process simple, consistent and usable day-to-day, even sending live warnings when levels are breached.
Each operator has their own HAVSPRO sensor, programmed to their personal levels and their identifying details . It is their own personal device that is used to measure, monitor and warn of exposure limits.
Each vibrating tool (or vehicle for WBV) is fitted with a HAVSPRO holster and pre-configured with the asset ID and tool type and whether it’s measuring HAV or WBV.
The operator clicks their sensor onto the holster which is rigidly mounted onto the tool being used. Vibration exposure is recorded automatically while the tool is in use. No manual input or pairing required. A simple, Pick, Click and Go operation.
When they finish, the operator removes the sensor and clicks it onto the next tool holster (or WBV holster) to continue capturing exposure across the shift, allowing easy understanding of tools used, tasks performed and values accrued.
Exposure data automatically transmits from the sensor to a beacon, then via mobile connectivity to the HAVSPRO Insights, the cloud-based exposure analytics platform which can be accessed from any internet connected phone, tablet, laptop etc.
- At Exposure Action Value (EAV): the sensor flashes amber and nominated recipients receive alerts direct to their phone and/or inbox so controls can be rapidly applied.
- Approaching 90% of Exposure Limit Value (ELV): the sensor flashes amber/red and alerts are issued.
- At 100% ELV: the sensor flashes red and alerts are issued to stop over-exposure and trigger intervention.
Sensors can be stored ready for the next shift with no overnight charging requirement.
How AssessNET completes the loop
HAVSPRO tells you what exposure is happening. AssessNET is where you:
- Assign actions to reduce exposure (maintenance, tool change, method change, rotation, supervision)
- Link exposure evidence to risk assessments and reviews
- Record interventions and track whether exposure trends improve
- Produce consistent reporting and assurance across sites and teams
