Our Approach to Chemical Management

number 1

Onsite Survey and Stakeholder Engagement Workshop

Our advisors will carry out a 1-day onsite walk around and initial view of substance inventory to assist us in designing and scoping the project. Whilst we are there, if relevant, we can facilitate a “Hearts and Minds” interactive workshop to communicate the importance of collaboration on this project and get stakeholder input on the Critical Success Factors related to the project.

number 2

Substance Gap Analysis (Remote)

Our Advisors will carry out a review of the current substances and CoSHH Assessments used in your business, looking at your substance inventory, the number of people exposed and how workers are informed about the measures they must take to keep themselves safe.

number 3

Recommendations Report

We will then produce a report showing the volume of CoSHH Assessments you need to be imported and updated. At this time, we will confirm the time required and therefore the related fees. We can usually create/update up to 15 CoSHH Risk Assessments and related datasheets per consultant per day.

number 4

Create Assessments and upload SDS

Our advisors will create the CoSHH Assessments in AssessNET, linking with your MSDS to automatically drop relevant information into the CoSHH Assessments. When the upload/creation process has been completed, you will have real-time access to dashboards that provide insights regarding the status of your CoSHH Assessments.

number 5

Ongoing Maintenance and Review

Once your CoSHH Assessments have been overhauled and digitised in AssessNET, you can choose to take responsibility for ongoing review and management in house, or we can continue to support you on a retainer basis to carry out the reviews and updates on your behalf.

number 6

CoSHH Helpline Service

A telephone helpline to provide CoSHH advice or to request a new CoSHH Assessment to be produced and added to your AssessNET CoSHH Plus Platform.

Employee access

Provide quick access to assessments via an easy-to-use Employee portal and QR code functionality. Choose simple pictorial base summarise or detailed reports.

SDS linkage

Save time by only creating the parts of your SDS that are relevant to the COSHH process in question.

Set review periods or expiry dates for SDS using to manage substances, as well as COSHH Risk Assessments.

Automate processes

Assign remedial actions, track progress, and review outcomes in the assessment report. Create standardised and custom COSHH Risk Assessment templates.
